Resurrected this game over holiday

Post by ElvisJJonesRambo »

2nd trip around this game. Kind of like an old girlfriend, that you broke up, because it wasn't a fit. And she just happens to be in town, also got holiday.

You tried to make it work, but it didn't. Then the two of your went different directions. Then, during the holiday, you hear/see she had some updates. So, caught your eye once, catch your eye twice. It's a holiday, friends and family can only keep you amused so long. Have a drink with her. Fits a little bit better this time around, because you don't care and have 0 expectations. Take the game for what it's worth.

Playing single player mode, "Veteran level".

Gave myself an extra goal: eliminate Sterling Price in Missouri/Arkansas. Bounty.

Goal #2 this game: Take Tallahassee Florida, wasn't take in Civil War

Played the North, of the default 1861 classic campaign. Took me 3rd time, to win as the North to figure out the tricks. Was playing on the Veteran mode. Think next time, I'll get rid of all the messaging between turns, that slows it down more than playing.
