Axis GC T1 Air strategy.

Post by helios123 »

Is there much variation regarding the Axis GC T1 Air strategy or is there basically an optimal setup? And if there is an optimal set up could anyone upload there setup as save file or edited scenario somewhere so I (and others) may view and use it, mainly for AI in my case.

Thanks!

There are details given if you scroll through the war room.
I generally focus on the VVS fighters, except opposite Romania where I target the bombers too, shifting some air groups South to get more attacks in there.
Apart from the Crimea, I only do escorted attacks.
Get around 3k kills for 150 Axis in the air phase.
Then you can get a lot more during the ground phase as the VVS will keep doing GS even when they have no fighters left, you need to move some fighters forwards during the ground phase to catch the last few.

Could you specify which post? For eg https://forums.matrixgames.com/viewtopi ... &start=200 seems a bit outdated - someone said they dont get the same results since update.

That is the one I meant, and yes it is outdated but still worth looking through.
I don't know if there is a airbase bombing guide for the current patch.
