Range ring for long range nuclear weapons

Post by Nikel »

The range rings of long range weapons are not displayed on the map, in this case nuclear.

Perhaps there is a limitation for drawing them?

Also is not displayed for any, if the Doctrine ROE is set to "no" for nuclear weapons. I suppose this is intended.

In this example:

Displayed:

RS-26 Rubeth: 3132 nm

SS-N-32 Bulava: 4500 nm

Not displayed:

Trident II D5: 6500 nm

RS-28 Sarmat: 9560 nm. Nearly but still not covering the whole earth.

If the unit is not directly visible the range rings will disappear and for many long range weapons the range will go to the opposite side of the earth from the unit and so will disappear once the unit passes from direct LOS.
