Is this game compatible with Windows 11 in any way?

This classic strategy game designed by Philippe Thibaut allows you to take charge of several of nearly 80 playable nations during the tumultuous and war torn period between 350 and 1066. Hi guys, quick question, has anyone made Great Invasions work on a windows 11 PC? I was curious since I recently bought it and it hasn't worked for me.
I did follow all instructions I could find to try and make it to work, including the windows 10 install instructions and all sorts of compatibility modes, but alas.

Edit: I would like to mention that I did make it work on my really old laptop that has windows 10, but not on my windows 11 PC, using the same method. If anyone has made it work on windows 11, some help would be appreciated.
