I want to know what is your favorite nation in SPWaW to use is and your favorite campaing that you got off the internet. If you can post a link to this scenario or campaign for download, please.
Personally my favorite nation to use is Japan because of their sniper and guerilla forces. Along with the Soviet Union who has some choice sniper and guerilla forces too.
My favorite scenario which game with the game was Ramelle, the Saving Private Ryan mock battle.
I would say that which country I play depends on the mood I'm in at the time. I play a lot with Germany, the Soviet Union, and Italy. My favorite campaign would be 'Italians at War'. Italy vs Greece makes for a challenging set of scenarios.
The Pacific theater of war is my favorite. I enjoy the others but there is something about that fighting that really fascinates me.
As a boy, I remember when the Victory at Sea documentary first appeared on TV. You could not get it then. THere were no VCRs in existence.
But I never forgot it. The music, the films, the commentary stirred something within me. Movies like Bataan, Guadalcanal Diary, and Sands of Iwo Jima added to that interest.
By the way, I'll be updating the Saving Private Ryan scenario and putting it up for grabs on the Gamer's Depot soon. It is much the same but I've changed a few things to make it a little more fun.
