Support vessels and cargo capacity

Post by Bella »

I’ve read the seminal paper made by a person of this community about supply vessels and their functions. Brilliant. Useful. I know I need to load AE and AKE with supply in order for them to supply vessels. But why do AS and AD have cargo capacity? The reason is not explicitly mentioned in the paper. Do they need to have supply to do their job? Love the game!

I guess they need supply, like AVD, AV and AVP...but not sure about some others.

Bella, what paper did you read?

The info here

is self evident - AS and AD ships repair and rearm selected ship classes. They rearm other ships by expending supply from their cargo capacities.
