WITE2 players - do you reccomend this game? and logistics...

War in Spain 1936-39 is the first in a new wargame series, using a new Land-Sea-Air engine inspired by War in the Pacific - Admiral’s Edition. Gameplay and realism are improved by TRUE AI and a detailed Logistics systems. A hyper detailed OOB reaches down to battalion and company level. A beautiful, hand drawn, 5 nautical mile per hex map massively increases player immersion.

I have only played WITE2. I really like the logistics systems in that game. for people who have played both, how does this games logistics system compare? and also, do you recommend?

IMHO, WITE2 logistics are much "hands off" than WITP or WIS. Personally, I'm am still figuring WIS logistics out so there are far better qualified people than me to comment, but I played the heck out of WITE2 and found logistics to be much more intuitive than either WITP or WIS.

Just have enough logistical units at your bases to keep your units supplied in the field, have some with your artillery, use your base commands to draw supplies where you will need the supplies, and then play the game.
Seek peace but keep your gun handy.

I'm not a complete idiot, some parts are missing! :o

Compared to WITP-AE, there are less production choices however; you don't need to ship around OIL/RESOURCES to feed industry, and there is no vehicle, aircraft, shipbuilding production.

Just Manpower, Fuel Production, and Light INdustry for Supplies

Thats in the stock game, you can make things much more difficult/interesting touching the preferences. You can simulate the production of stuff in a much more complex way.

I have been playing WITE2 continuously since its release. I have only gone through the tutorials for WIS. I will not comment on what game has a more realistic logistical system "under the hood". What I can say is that there is more (may be much more - will know better once I actual play) for the player to do and think about in WIS than WITE2. WITE2 is rather simple for the players. Repairing railroads and building/placing your supply depots is about all you do. Both are relatively simple and straightforward to do in the game. There seems to be a lot more to keep track of and do in WIS.
