4 players LAN

Maybe this one has been posted before, but i have not found it. When trying to play 4 players on a LAN the game crashes when starting. Bying troops and deployment goes just fine but when starting.... This is the case in 4.5 I haven't tried with three or more than four players though. Anyone else experienced this?

It worked on us, and mighty great fun it sure was.

By the way, one of the things we tried was co-operative play against computer, but the AI didn't work; ie. computer controlled units did not shoot or move.
Yes, I know you must wonder why someone would play against computer with TCP/IP. The reason is practising the cooperative play (it sure requires that, because the other commanders might not do what you exactly would want). And giving computer zillion points extra makes it challenging.

Playing cooperative against the computer can be great fun. I think we played Gettysburg more co-op against the computer than against each other.

I wonder if SPWAW's AI is active in scenarios...

Have had a similar problem.4 player game will lock up at the 4th players turn. the good people at matrix have addressed this bug of ours and maybe this will fix your problem.By the way, if it works,how about some sort of tournament,albeit limited due to hook up and lifes inevitable constraints.

could have much fun as we really enjoy sharing the battlefield.
