Switching torpedo bombers loadout to bombs(solved)

As I am spending torpedoes as candy and I don’t have many of them I thought I would switch my torpedo bombers to toad bombs instead torps since I remembered this message on day 1 August when the new devices available were listed in the operational report.

So I went to my TB squadron and tried to switch to bombs loadout. But screen tells me it is still a torpedoes loadout, no bombs anywhere ( well the ASW bomb is still there). I went to the device list in my overview report of nation and I wasn’t able to find the 250kg AP bombs. Dunno where those would appear in that list.
So I checked the plane info and indeed there is a “reduce load” without using torpedoes switching them to bombs, that’s exactly want I want. How do I make my TB squadron to use that loadout?.( if that’s possible, that I don’t know).

Mine are showing bombs but maybe it waits until the turn is executed to switch them.

This torpedo bomber uses torpedoes for ship targets (at normal range).
At extended range, only bombs.

However, there is a possibility to convert this type from TB to LB.
(Republicans actually did that)

Then it will drop bombs one after the other...

Easy-peasy, you only need to set mission range one hex higher than the “normal radious” and they switch to “reduced load” loadout so.. bombs. Thanks!. Now I need to know where to look for them in my devices info list, I may have even less of those bombs than torpedoes so the cure would be worse than the disease.

Umhh i set them to fly at 5000 feet and release at 1000 feet, let´s see how it goes. I´d like to keep them as TB just in case i need to pay BB España or one of their CLs a visit later.

You can always return them to TB.
it's a matter of 2-3 days.

And as reinforcements they come as LB.
(just a few pieces that they assembled from warehouses and spare parts)
