[FIXED]1825.11 - Ongoing CTD issues

Post by kahta »

I am unable to launch CMO at all. I have attached my exception log and .ini file. I am available on discord all day today if anyone from tech dev team wants to walk through testing out possible fixes. I've already done a full clean install and all the usual suspects; checked drivers, updated everything on my system, etc.

Can you check Event Viewer log? We have fixed some issues on CMO startup that will be in the next release

It's windows Event Viewer,

type event viewer in start menu, then go to Windows Logs > Applications. There might be some errors when you try to open Command and it CTD.

Post the Dxdiag file, perhaps there is something there.

Is it a crash to desktop after starting or will it not even start?

It is strange there is nothing in the Event viewer. On the right, in actions there is a Find button, you may click on it and search for Command.exe

In the Dxdiagfile, there is a Command error. According to the AI it may be related with the memory.

Have you restarted the computer recently'

It is a CTD once the game fully loads and I click on the scenario briefing.

What scenario? Any?

Perhaps it is related with webview2, try reinstalling/updating.

Thanks, I just reinstalled webview 2 and that didn't help.

It is happening with every scenario but it does not happen when I create a new scenario.

What's the path command is installed?

If it is in C:\Program Files or Program Filex(x86), can you try moving it to something like C:\Matrix Games\Command - Modern Operations?

I have the Steam version.

I think I figured out the issue- I think there was a conflict in the cache somewhere. Now that I deleted absolutely everything and did a complete reinstall it is working perfectly.
