Mouse hints misplaced in high ultrawide resolutions

Hi,

I reported this issue a few years ago shortly after War Plan Pacific release, rising it again in a hope that it can get another look from the developer - it still affects latest game update, as well as its older brother (War Plan):

the problem is that mouse hints in the main menu (but not in the game!) are misplaced by a lot in high ultrawide resolutions (5120x1440, 3440x1440 etc); see the screenshots - in all cases my mouse pointer (not captured by the screenshot tool) was placed in the top-right corner of "New game" button; the 1920x1440 screenshot is an example where the hint is placed correctly. It seems as if whatever calculation the hint positioning is using, it misbehaves in non-standard resolutions. Fullscreen/windowed mode makes no difference.

It's just a minor annoyance of course, but perhaps trivial to address.

The issue might be when you change it in game.

If you restart the game does it do it?

Also is it only the main screen or in game?

- the issue perists across restarts
- only on the main screen. Mouse hints in the game are fine.
