I´d like to know hot this setting is expected to work. The manual states that:
"Allow switching to high-performance power scheme. This allows COMMAND to let the computer switch to high performance power systems even if it uses more electricity".
But my observations (1852 .. but it happened before I applied the beta) are that:
- I set my windows computer for "energy efficiency" at night, mostly to keep the fans quiet.
- I start CMO and the computer switches to "Ultimate Performance" (and a lot of noise
- I check the setting and is not selected.
- Click outside CMO and the power scheme goes back to "energy efficiency" and no noise.
- Back to CMO and "Ultimate Performance" again...
- Play with the setting : select/deselect , close the dialog, deselect/select... no matter what I do, the behaviour is the same
I was under the impression that the idea was for the power setting to be controlled by Windows when the setting is not selected. But the behaviour that I see is more like it's always on.
Is this WAD?
Cheers!
