CMO Build 1892 Release Notes (changes from B1877)
=========================================================================

ADDED: New dedicated naval formation editor: Select any naval group and press Shift+F4: https://i.ibb.co/fYxVctRK/image.png
The new naval formation allows easier placement of escorts around a HVU, as well as new standard formation templates: https://i.ibb.co/FLr3xp2y/image.png

ADDED: New map/UI feature: Vector OSM maps (Top menu bar --> View --> OSM Vector Map).
This map layer is different from the other existing ones: Instead of fetching and caching locally pre-rendered raster tiles, it fetches the actual .pbf-format OSM vector tiles that contain all the information used to generate OSM maps, and uses that information to dynamically render raster tiles on the map. This affords a near-infinite flexibility on what information is shown (or hidden), depending on the applied style.
You can change the desired style on Game Options --> Map Display --> OSM Layer Style. These styles are simple JSON files, stored in \GIS\OSM_Vector\layers, so you can edit them or add more of your own.
The selected vector style is persisted as part of the map-profile settings and will be re-applied on the next session if the style file is in place.

ADDED: New realism feature: Limited Sonobuoy Stocks. (Off by default). When enabled, sonobuoys are no longer treated as an infinite resource (like e.g. external fuel tanks or unguided weapons) and become a finite aircraft store like guided weapons (ie. bases and aircraft-carrying ships can run out of them). They can also be stored & transferred as cargo, like other aircraft payloads. This feature is auto-disabled when the "Unlimited base magazines" feature is enabled.

ADDED: New doctrine setting: Sonobuoy Use. Available settings:
* Automatic for search and localization (default): Sonobuoys are freely and aggressively used by AI-controlled aircraft for initial submarine search (often "carpeting" entire patrol/search areas). CAUTION: If this is used together with the "limited sonobuoys" realism setting, the force can very quickly run out of sonobuoys!
* Automatic for localization: Sonobuoys are not used for the initial search, but are dropped for firming up an already made contact or prior to attack.
* Manual (player order) only: Sonobuoys are not dropped by the AI at all. (Useful if you're low on them or want to handle it hands-on)

ADDED: AI sonobuoy choice determined by sonar EMCON (if EMCON-sonar is "Passive", drop passive sonobuoys; if it is "Active", drop active ones instead)

ADDED: [RTMP] Added intermediate unit position update option. This provides a much smoother playback of unit positions.

ADDED (EXPLORATORY): Lua Console Rate Limiter (CMO-Civ only). This limits the use of the console to three "prompts" at a time, with new prompts becoming available every thirty seconds. When all prompts are on cooldown, the button grays out temporarily. The purpose of this limiter is to prevent civ-CMO being used as an AI/ML/LLM platform (Command-PE is perfectly suited to this).

Updated versions of all official scenarios:
Change Log:
* Raid on Kismayo, 2013 - Fixed ground unit pathing.
* Raven 21 is Down, 1976 - Fixed ground unit pathing.

* Updated Tide of War scenarios:
* Updated all ToW scenarios to DB3K 515.

ASEX-25:
* Fixed Radio Warning special action failure.
* Fixed aircraft and RHIBs being able to ram PAFMM vessels.
* Added popup explaining PAFMM ROE changes after ignored radio warnings.
* Updated Radio Warning description to clarify it works for aircraft and ships.
* Reduced maximum PAFMM vessel spawns per wave from 18 to 15.
* Added seaplane mechanics explanation to the scenario briefing.
* Adjusted exercise area penalty mechanics.
* Fixed scoring penalties persisting after the distressed vessel event fires.
* Successful boarding actions now award +10 points.
* Failed boarding actions now deduct 10 points.
* Adjusted starting score and scoring progression to prevent premature scenario completion.
Apocalypse No:
* Fixed the issue where ship names revert to their seed instead of their proper name.
The Battle of the South China Sea
* Fixed the issue that deleted all PLA missions.
* Added the missing J-20B squadron and adjusted their starting base to be more real-world accurate.

TWEAK: Class-1 drones fuel logic is overriden (based on endurance value). Class-1 drones utilize their endurance value as internal fuel max quantity instead of the database provided fuel values. In this case the remaining fuel is shown as minutes (if no other time is shown for fuel)
TWEAK: [RTMP CIV] Intermediate Update Default setting = 5s
TWEAK: Lift-induced drag is now included in the calculated drag for boost-coast AAW weapons. This fixes the "weapons gliding near-indefinitely at constant altitude at high altitude" realism flaw.
TWEAK: When an aerospace target has a speed under half of the weapon's max-target-speed value, it becomes easier-than-nominal to hit (PH boosted by 10%). If the target is even slower (less then 1/4th of max target speed), the bonus becomes 20%. (This makes slow air targets like most drones a bit easier to engage once detected)
TWEAK: Tweaks to the "JAM" map indicator to make it more visible
TWEAK: Added caps on thermocline sonar degradation to prevent 100% absorption cases
Various sim speed tweaks

FIXED: #17342: [All Builds] Only nuke subs can plot course under ice
FIXED: [RTMP] Fixed wrong contact movement vector with 'draw at altitude'
FIXED: [CARGO] Fixed exception in edit cargo with old DB
FIXED: "Add comms" table was not properly displayed
FIXED: The "bystanders get also hit" logic in wide-beam HPMs was not excluding groups from the evaluation
FIXED: #17350: Units on SEAD ignore BINGO fuel and crash
FIXED: RV on depressed trajectory may hit the earth
FIXED: #17341: [1877] Ships do not defend themselves
FIXED: WRA not being respected
FIXED: Airburst-fuse mechanics were activated only for proximity-fuse, not also for combined-fuse
FIXED: #17300 Aircraft switches to plotted course when under attack
FIXED: Chaff not participating in point-defence resolution
FIXED: Patrol with distant prosecution area not working
FIXED: #17352: (1877/1879) Active/Passive Sonobuoys not detecting submerged submarines
FIXED: #17356: (1880) SEAD patrol aircraft ignore "Time on station", altitude and WPs after take-off, engage target immediately
FIXED: Re-usable suicide drone not turning back to engage target if unable to intercept strike target (Aircraft was instead heading towards the subsequent plotted course waypoint if on a flightplan. Also fixes group leader occasionally not impacting target and turning back to base)
FIXED: Various issues caused by race condition when detaching suicide wingmen from group on strike mission
FIXED: Re-usable suicide drones not attacking strike targets (Mainly caused by leader reaching target waypoint right before impact and choosing egress point as next plotted course waypoint for the whole group. Even if waypoint switch was prevented, group moved towards target in formation, again only leader detonated, best solution was to break up group and set target waypoint as only plotted course for wingmen.)
FIXED: Re-usable suicide drone not adjusting to target's changes in position and altitude
FIXED: Re-usable suicide drone not diving to hit target due to MinimumSafeHeight check
FIXED: Re-usable suicide drone continues on egress path if target has been destroyed
FIXED: Re-usable suicide drones turning away from target WP, heading to egress instead of hitting target
FIXED: Problems with CEC engagements
FIXED: Comms Window UI: Bandwidth Spelled Wrong
FIXED: #17361: Units on engage offensive ignore bingo calls
FIXED: #17334: Sluggish torpedo evasion
FIXED: Ships assigned to inactive mission explode message log
FIXED: Incorrect calculation of satellite groundtrack speed
FIXED: #17367: (1884) Units that are currently on-mission when mission is inactivated do not RTB automatically
FIXED: #17362: HGV fired at max range target changes target to 0,0
FIXED: #17365: Hit animation "duplicated" in different locations
FIXED: [RTMP] Newly spawned weapons interpolate from the shooter
FIXED: Aircraft immediately RTB after refueling during strike mission
FIXED: HGVs were considered as "reentry vehicles" on weapon impact, and thus the "ABM warhead modifiers" sequence was run on them
FIXED: #17327: [1869] ESSMs being fired first against HGV target
FIXED: #17360 WRA Range not respected
FIXED: #17369: (1885) Cannot add/launch Class-1 UAVs from LCS/LPD
FIXED: Execute-crank for "Timeshared-SARH + TARH" guided missile (ie. AIM-54) considering wider radar illumination arc instead of smaller search arc (The special guidance mode of the AIM-54 restricted search arc width in order to provide acceptable refresh rate)
FIXED: #17354: Aircraft immediately RTB after refueling during strike mission
FIXED: #17361: Patrol aircraft stay RTB after bingo
FIXED: #17357: (1880) Target aircraft falls outside of fighter radar arc while aircraft is cranking during BVR, missile goes blind and is lost

FIXED: #17381: [AAR] Units don't refuel fully
FIXED: #17336: AI does not maneuver to clear mount arcs to fire
FIXED: Show flight plans for mission editor selected flight
FIXED: Platform constantly flipping between "keep all sensors passive because EMCON dictates so" and "activate all sensors that have active mode because we are under attack"
