The next update will include separate csv files for air group and ground unit renames.

Out of interest, would there be any value in having the unit ID in the file? - a unique Id rather than everything on name, that way my little program could keep details over multiple turns by ID rather than have to figure out via a separate file.

Also- If you create a corps from a soviet div (1 existing div + 2 new created) , sometimes (always?) It doesn't seem to name the 2 new divisions, - does that have any impact on whether they can become guards?
By creating a unit from an existing I can avoid it starting at 30 ability and having to wait 1/2 a dozen turns to be viable.

If you mean the unit ID being in the csv rename file, it is. As for the question re guards, my guess is that any unit that isn't named within a guards corps, will become guard when the corps is broken down and the unit is given a name. Not sure about this.
