Old Editor to be retained?

Post by HOTEC »

Many fields have been omitted from the output of the new Editor, such as the combat and recon values of a unit; the transfer of units from one TB to another during the game, etc.
A small VBA can combine the old and new into one file.
Will the old Editor be retained after the new implemented?

All blank lines are not shown.
Is there no upper limit on the number of records in the file?

There is no plan to disable the old editor, however Pavel is not planning on making any changes to the old editor. He's only supporting the new editor going forward. The CSV file in the new editor is different from the CSV in the new editor.

Pavel has just recently added ground and airgroup renames as csv files. Not sure how easy it is to add in items to the new editor csv file, but if you find some items missing and they are useful to you, let us know and we'll consider adding them if possible. I don't know if there is a limit.
All understanding comes after the fact.
