USA early declaration of war

Post by Illiniwek80 »

I was playing as Japan, AI everything else. Just tinkering around with different tactics and letting the AI do its thing.

I took Nanning in Spring 1940 and USA declared war two turns later. I don't understand why this happened. I didn't do any early DOWs or anything, just, as I said, doing my thing. No other advancements anywhere else. It ruined this game, as the AI German was too slow in conquering France.

We'll need more information to be able to help here, e.g. what campaign you were playing, and at what point (and how) the US Mobilization started increasing, as it won't go from 0 to 100 all at once.

If you press L you can review all the notifications that will have been triggered during the game so far, and this should highlight the cause(s) of US Mobilization.

You can always email us a saved turn too at bill.runacre@furysoftware.com

Thanks. Looks like it's the Indochina event. I'll start saying no to that, not worth the price.
