Unit Dismount Ability

Post by Gustophus »

In the Campaign for South Vietname, there is the 91st ARVN Ranger unit, which has a airborne nato symbol. In the equipment it has M113s. When you use helicopters to move the unit, its movement is reduced to zero until next turn. However, I recently noticed that when you right click and select the unit info, there is a box to click for a dismount option. This takes away the M113s so that when you fly the unit, they still have their moverment points after they land. you are able to remount the unit later if you like. I looked this up and find that it is a new Unit Dismount ability you can create. I like this and want to replicate it in a scenario that I am creating. The problem is it is not really explained how this is done, at least as far as I can find.

Does anyone know how to do this with units in the scenario creator?

The Dismount feature is explained on page 4 of the What's New 4.1.docx, found in the Main menu for TOAW.
