Any pointers to getting started?

You must deentrench the defending unit before you can cause real damage. Artillery first! All units Entrench one per turn.

Watch your supply. 6+ is ideal. 1-3 drops your readiness and morale pretty quick.

Naval units will never get a successful hit when bombarding a land unit, despite the 10% chance. Don't waste the supply or risk the damage.

Press H when in game.

Defending against a unit with tech that is 2 levels greater than you can have catosphric consequences. Ech is important.

Don't underestimate the power of Logistics tech as the Germans.
