[LOGGED] Teleporting Cargo

Post by JoeBryon »

Hi all, making a scenario where the US player has cargo at Okinawa and Guam. When using the "Transfer cargo" function in "Cargo Operations" on my Okinawa Terminal, I determined I can transfer the cargo directly to Guam (so teleportation!). Screenshots attached

Anyone know how to disable this cargo teleportation capability? I want the player to be forced to actually transport the cargo.

Playing on Build V1.10RC - Build 1900.8 (beta).

Sorry I meant to move this post to the Command Tech Support forum but I accidentally selected here. Need to get someone with higher moderator powers to move it out of this forum.

If you can post the scenario (in the CMO forum :) ) then I will take a look at it. I'm just a player, but pretty up on CARGO.

Hi JoeBryon,
As mentioned please attach a scenario so that we can investigate this specific case.

Thanks

It can be done if all are part of a group. The 2 nm distance in not taken into account.

After some trial and error could recreate it in this scenario (B1892).

Sorry about that folks. attached is the save file.

Once again I can teleport cargo, in this case a container, from MCAS Futenma (Okinawa) to Anderson (Guam).

Thanks for the additional testing as I didn't test the distance within a group. In my case, I observed teleporting between two different unit groups.

Ah, sorry for messing in your thread :)

I can reproduce the problem in the way displayed in this video.
