Rebuilding old scenarios with AI

Post by Knightpawn »

I find AI can accelerate the rebuilding of new scenarios in to the most current DB. Normally, if ones does such a thing, the scenario will rebuilt of course but there will be a long list of loadouts on various units that will not longer be 'correct' (based on the new DB). A SBR of illegal loadouts is created and stored for future refence. What I did yesterday on a Northern Fury scenario (BD 504) was to update to 518 and then prompted the AI as follows (I shared the logs, the LUA API and DB518)
"I updated the scenario X to the most recent DB (db518). As a result there were a series of mismatches in the loadouts and (maybe some platforms). I want you to right a lua script that updates each and every platform whose loadout conflicts with the current db518 to the correct loadouts. If you see any other conflict in the logs update, if possible"
It produced a script which I run once and all worked quite successfully, as far as I can tell.
