Looking for historically accurate Save Files (Germany: June 22 – Dec 1941 / Barbarossa)

Post by RudiDutschke »

Hi everyone,

Does anyone happen to have historically accurate save files, specifically for the German side, covering the period between 22.6.1941 and early December of the same year? Ideally across roughly half a year—so around 15–20 save files in total?

I’ve played through this campaign countless times and used to keep track of everything in extreme detail—following historical order of battle (Kriegsgliederungen), moving divisions exactly as the OKH did, and even reading primary source history books to better understand the mindsets and decision-making of the Wehrmacht leadership. Unfortunately, I lost all of my save games.

Having a set like this again would be a huge help. It doesn't have to be 100% perfectly historical in every minute detail, but I'd like to use the in-game map and unit data to clearly explain key moments—such as the Pocket of Uman, the Battle of Kiev, the objectives of each Army Group, and why the Soviets were so caught off guard in the opening months.

If anyone has a save collection like this or can share a link, I’d really appreciate it! Thanks!

Hi!
I dont know if its helpfull but in my Planningmap and history I have at many places historical frontlines and localisations of ex air groupes. In side 6 from 3 sept. 2023 there is a map of opposing forces at different times -41-jan-42.
