Bermuda triangle

Post by Pack Rat »

I put some troops on some gliders in a pbem league game. I don't think I remembered to set their landing zone. The movement rate is 2 according to the stats and it shows them listed in my unit formations list. Their destination does show as the oppenets back victory hexes. Will they ever arrive? Any way to get the troops off? I need them bad Image

Are they sitting on the ground by your back edge of the map? If so, they ain't flyin', they're drivin' Image The speed of 2 & the lack of deploy setting suggests that they were deployed on the ground at the start of play. All I can say is OUCH!!

If they don't fly in at game start, the troops are pushing them...

You can always get your troops off, just like with any other transport, press L.

This would work if the gliders were showing. I tried with them not showing, twice with gliders once with the troops and they were counted as kills. Double ouch Image

Your not alone. I have managed that a few times, forgetting to assign droppoints for the planes and then voilá a lot of points just wasted.... They never show up and the troops are lost... Maybe they went to some R&R instead?

Just shoot them for deserting when they come home Image

Other great moments in history is when I managed to assign droppoints but forgot to load the planes with troops. That can ruin every plan...
