Fragmented Units Can Suck!

Post by Lrfss »

Hi All!

Tried to do a search to find what must have been posted prior to no avail?

A major improvement for UV and hopefully one which will come stock in WitP would be the following:

You should be able to click on a unit and in the event it is fragmented, the AI should report the location of all related fragmented units along with the option to fly to the parent/partial unit or Auto Create a transport if available a swim :D

Of course if by land the boot scoot/march or die option would be good as well

Otherwise unless I'm missing something here, there is much too much Admin going on here that is very unnecessary

All for now.

The replacement mechanism in WitP will be much cleaner. Supplies will be expended to build up a unit to its TOE strength rather than having a fragment arrive somewhere on the map. Hopefully this feature will be back fitted to UV.

Now that makes me happy, nothing more frustrating than having to micromanage fragments, especially if you leave them alone they just die out anyway
