12 potential new scenarios-plus a Lot more if you are motivatedneed help

Post by Supervisor »

For some reason the original message is no longer on the forum, Image so this is a repeat. To answer some questions;
1. No experience in SPWW2 or Fred Chlanda's programs is necessary, but you will need to learn them both to do this.

2. I do not have the time to do any tutoring on SPWW2 or Fred's programs. If you are motivated enough to learn to play SPWaW then these simple programs will be easy.

3. If anyone needs SPWW2, I can send them a copy. It is large, about 30 MB, so it would be best if I burn you a CD and mail it. I can send by e mail if you want.

4. Fred Chlanda's programs are located at his website; http://freds.webprovider.com/

I have a large number of SPWW2 scenarios that I want to convert to SPWaW but have not been able to. I am looking for 1-3 persons who have a desire to learn firsthand my methods in the intricacies of SPWaW scenario design. Image It will be helpful if you have familiarity with SPWW2 and using Fred Chlanda's programs that would convert the SPWW2 scenarios to SPWaW using Fred's converter. Some of the scenarios can be completely converted using Fred's converter program. Others may have to be completely redone by converting only the map and then buying all new units to take advantage of the new SPWaW OOB's. Once the scenario has been changed over I will go over it to change VO's, reinforcements, waypoints and objectives to improve for SPWaW. Your input in this phase will be needed as well as testing the final scenario. For your help in this you will get a co-credit for the scenario

It will state;
Original design by Brent Grenadier Richards
Adapted to SPWaW by________________
The scenarios will be posted to the Raiders SP Arsenal site, Fabio Prado's SPWaW site and Tankhead's SPWaW site.

If anyone would be interested in working on this with me let me know.

Take a look at the the scenarios in the SPWW2 scenario depot. They are all for version 2.3 so they will not work in SPWW2 ver 3.

The scenarios are the following;
The complete Kiev Pocket series(all in 1 zip file or individdually)
The 4th battle of Kharkov series consisting of
1. The Price of Prestige
2. Buying Time for von Manstein
3. A Case for Decimation
4. Taken by Surprise
5. A Ruse That Failed

a special Kursk scenario-Bruno Meyer Strikes.

E Mail me if you are interested
