Can keyboard be remapped?

I looked around in the folders for a data file that might let me remap the keyboard. Only data/configs/de.cfg looked promising, but it wasn't obvious if this was it. I would like to remap some of my favorite keystrokes/commands to one-side of the keyboard if possible.

Sorry, ingame keys can't be remapped. de.cfg and us.cfg are the german and US keyboard layouts.
