Fatal Alliances

I know this point has no valid reply from Matrix at the current stage of planning for CWiF but I figured I may as well put the idea up to distract the verbal AAA from my other posts [:D]

ADG came out with a WWI module called "Fatal Alliances" which used some components of the WiF system. I never played it but it could be a cost-effective add-on for CWiF.

Fatal Alliances would indeed be a nice addition for CWiF. But this module was never adapted to WiF FE (Final Edition). So it would have to be re-designed from scratch to fit into the rules system used for CWiF. At best I'd expect Fatal Alliances to be part of a later update, probably a second edition of CWiF (CWiF III essentially).

I really like the idea of having the pre-war Days of Decision period 36-39, where you have some opportunity to make deals or alliances before WW2 starts. Having that period extended back to include pre-WW1 and then having two major wars to fight makes me drool. I fully understand the difficulties involved in making that mega-game work, and expect it will remain a dream, but still...
