Frozen in battle.

After pushed the turn button the battle noises kept going on for 30 minutes until I had to shut down. There was no other way to get out of that and back to the next turn.
Also - When executing an action or wtting one (an encounter) up. The only way out seems to be to exit Combat Display.
Also - How come the little man doesn't appear after all the action run-down is done and a new turn is permitted.
