General Game Questions

Hello all,

I saw this game in the store this weekend and almost purchased it. The last Hex Based game I played was Military Madness on my C=64.

I would like to know a bit more about the game before I purchase it, and was wondering if some of you could provide me with an answer or three.

1. All the strategy based games I have played in the past limited the resolution to something very small like 800x600. What is the largest screen resolution supported by this game? I have a large monitor and would love to play it at 1600x1200, possible?

2. Will this game support LAN (Local Area Network) Multiplayer gameplay? The box says one or two player gameplay, but I don't want to share a computer to do this. Just curious how the multiplayer gameplay works.

3. I also see it has multiplay via email. Is this the only online/multiplay option?

4. Are the game and rules difficult to learn? Curious if this is something I could teach a young teen.

1. I think this game plays in 1024 x 768 mode
2. There is no LAN support for this game, there is hotseat for 2 player game play.. or PBEM - dont write off the attraction of PBEM mode.., its a buzz! And a major drawcard for this game IMHO
3. Its PBEM mode.
4. Yes easy to learn, takes time to master and be a true champion.
