new patch problem

I had been running HTTR fine - just loaded new patch and now game freezes upon start up on blank black screen showing new version in lower right hand corner?????

It sounds to me like the patch has not installed correctly. Please uninstall HTTR; reboot, make sure you have no other programs running and reinstall HTTR from the original disk and then install the patch again. If you still get the same problem, then please send us a DX DIAG report - see separate sticky thread for details on how to do this. Good luck!
