Check out new International Store!

Post by Paul Vebber »

We've done some upgrades to our servers to better compartment operations and improve buying options for our overseas customers.

Our UK, Aussie, Canadian and European customers in particular now have localized credit card and currency options and shipping options that should make our games far more accessible as specialize our distribution between retail (for more general audience games) and online exclusives for our more specialty products.

So check out the new E-store options! We now offer the best localized sales options you'll find for online wargame purchase!

Aloha,

Maybe I miss something but personally have some problems with the (60%) price differences for digital downloads.
An Example:

If I say I'm from the EU and order from there, I have to pay: Across the Dnepr Digital download: 19,99 EUR
If I say I'm from the US and order from there, I have to pay: Across the Dnepr Digital download: 14.99$ is around 12 EUR
If I say I'm from the UK and order from there, I have to pay: Across the Dnepr Digital download: 14,90 EUR

PS believe the "remove from cart" buttons don't seem to be implented yet.

Agreed... why the differential ?

I would expect Euro (including UK) prices to be slightly more because of the VAT (a sales tax), but why on earth is the Euro price 25% less for Brits ? It just seems to be so everything is priced as "Currency XX.99" in dollars, UKP or Euros as appropriate.

Squad Assault is only £9.99 in GAME yet it is £24.99 in your online store FYI.

This pricing difference is where the "Download" is service from. You can order from any store you like but remember if you order from the US store and you live in Germany you could very well have a long and slow download. In the UK store the EURO pricing is showing a direct Pound to Euro exchange. That is incorrect and will be fixed as well on Monday. The reasons for the US vs the Euro/UK price is simply the cost of bandwidth. Also we are still going over the pricing and making sure everything was entered at the correct price.

I hope you notice that we are now able to ship from Europe so the shipping cost are much better and we are offering the Switch, Solo and Giro services to our Euro customers.

Please wait until Monday afternoon or Tuesday for any final comments on the store.

Retailers "dumping" games at such prices is why we are changing our distribution to mostly online. We effectively make no money on such a sale - in some ways lose money. So we are not going to be doing that except for tiles we think have "mass markey appeal" like Massive Assualt. Our "hard core" wargames will only be available online becasue retail just has little to no profit margin for us.

I'm interested in Screamin Eagles Mega Campaign, but, it doesn't tell me the size of the download files, or at least I didn't see this in the fine print. It tells how much hard drive space is needed for the game, but, I'm assuming the downloads are zipped files. Be nice if you added how many MB the download file size is on the products pages. So, anyways can you tell me the download file size for Screamin Eagles Mega Campaign? Thanks ;)
WE/I WANT 1:1 or something even 1:2 death animations in the KOIOS PANZER COMMAND SERIES don't forget Erik! ;) and Floating Paratroopers We grew up with Minor, Marginal and Decisive victories why rock the boat with Marginal, Decisive and Legendary?
