How detailed does it go?

Post by hyperstork »

I watched the video preview of Highway, this really looks very user friendly. The preview mentions that it keeps track of every soldier, gun, round, etc. How far does this detail go? Can it track the fates of individual soldiers and tanks from battle to battle, or is it more abstract, simply giving you the numbers of each killed, or such? I love games that involve you with the fates of individuals and wondered how much of that was present, if any....
Thanks for any insight.

Read my stickied tutorial/AAR above and you will get a very good sense of what playing the game is like.

It tracks soldiers, equipment, and supplies down to the smallest units, but there is no mechanism for passing results between different scenarios (a game).

Also, there are specific commander and unit attributes that cover skills and training, but individual soldiers and vehicles are just numbers (like rounds of ammunition).

I hope that helps.
