Frank Hunter's Campaigns on the Danube is an operational study of the campaigns along the Danube in 1805 and 1809. Campaigns on the Danube's system focuses on trying to present the player with the same sort of decisions placed on their historical counterparts; how to feed an army and move that army according to a plan, all the while trying to fight a campaign. There is also an option to allow players to play out the battles with miniatures and input the results.

Can you load this game from the CD only? Explain how this will work.

Absolutely. Just save the serial number key in case you ever need to re-install.

Sure you can burn it on a CD for personal backup purposes. When doing that you might want to burn the serial number on the CD too as a backup.

Can I buy the game already on a CD or do I only have the option of downloading it?

When you buy this game or any of our Digital Downloads you can download the game right then and there. If you want you can also order it on CD and have it mailed to you. There is a extra fee for ordering the CD and having it mailed to you.

Just to make sure I understand this correctly. I am interested in purchasing the game but I am not at all interested in digital download.

So, can I purchase a hard copy on CD alone?

Will a CD include the latest patch (2.1?) ?

Will a hard copy include a printed manual or will it be a pdf file on the disc?

When you purchase the game, you get the ability to download. If you add the extra money for CD on Demand, then you ALSO get a CD shipped to you (you can download if you still want to). With the download-only option, you can still burn a copy for youself.

I doubt the cd will include the patch -- this would most likely have to be downloaded by you, but I could be wrong. By the way, a new patch is also in the works.

All purchase options will only have the pdf file as part of the installation. It's not that big of a manual (38 pages in total), so you could print it out yourself fairly easily.

I ordered the game some time ago and am still waiting for my CD. Is there a backlog of orders.
