Need help on mouse problem

Post by m10bob »

Hi gurus.....
About a year ago I acquired SP:Modern Battles and SP WW2..I had windows 98 and somebody here was nice enough to tell me how to make them work on that system. Now I have XP and "emulating" a prior OS does not make the mouse move fast at all.I already have the mouse set to run as fast as possible..Any suggestions.(The games themselves work fine, but the curser just draaaggssss across the screen..)[&:]

Your mouse is too fast [:D].
In game : preferences - you need higher number in scroll dealy. It doesn't help, sometimes (you will see - artillery).
Or in Windows :
Controlpanel-> mouse and ...-> scrollspeed (speed down please[:'(]).
Yeah, big monitor, high speed in 800*600, 640*480, ... .
So it goes (K. V. jr).

Check out the suggestions here: http://linetap.com/www/drg/SPCamo-SPinXP.htm

I'll add that some mice won't work with this mousectl they speak of. Mine would not (wouldn't work better anyway). Mine uses something called mousedos which I retrieved directly or indirectly through the manufacturer's website for my mouse.
