Paralyzed Computer

Post by spence »

I'm no computer jock so if you reply please keep it simple. When I exit UV my computer gets paralyzed for a minute or so. Is there any way to avoid this? I've heard that UV leaves various corrupt or broken files (or some such) which can degrade one's overall performance every time one replaces the turn file as the IJN player. I'm using Windows XP Home.[&o]

Hey Spence
I also have XP and my system locks up for a minute if my screen resolution
is higher than 1024 x 768.
the issue I have with deleting old uv turns is it leaves broken registry links
and after a while you end up with hundreds of broken links in a short time
and that slows performance of windows.
