Game runs slower with new graphics card

I just upgraded my graphics card to a Gforce FX 5700 Ultra and the animations and map scrolling are much slower now in the game. Since this new graphics card is far superior to my old one, which was about 3 years old, I am puzzled. Any idea why it would run slower? It use to be possible to scroll from the top of the map to the bottom in about 2 seconds. Now it takes about 15. [&:]

Have you checked the AGP settings in the BIOS?
Have you deinstalled the drivers of your previous graphics card ?
Have you checked for "leftovers" in the registry?
Did you use a card of a different manufacturer before (ATI, Matrox,...)?
Did you use the driver that came with the card or a generic one from Nvidia?

Check the "Map scroll delay" setting in the Preferences menu of UV?

Follow up: I downloaded the latest nVidea drivers and now my game runs back up to speed. [:)]
