Sending damaged ships to Pearl Harbor

How can one send seriously damaged ships back to Pearl Harbor for repair? Unfortunately Pearl Harbor is far beyond of the campain's map?

In the scenarios that allow it, move the ship to Noumea, disband it, and then select teh button at the bottom "sent to Pearl".

try to repair flooding/fire damage at Noumea or any other large port (that's fairly done fast). Otherwise that return trip to Pearl is done at the current travel speed (IIRC) and you surely won't send back a ship at 3 kn or so... [:)]
There's a bug that only affects USN: weapon system damage shall be repaired in theatre (port size 5 minimum) prior to sending ships back to Pearl. Otherwise weapon systems may not be repaired at Pearl and never will when the ship is committed again.

well the arrival time isn't the transit time to PH it is the transit time AND repair time, so when it arrives in PH it is completly fixed

im not sure that is true ive had 3 ca's in there for at least 2 months and they still havent been sent back. im in dec 42 and after my first battle with the jap cv's i got rid of all they had except one but ive only got 2 ca's and 2 dd's left with damage to use sparingly and now the japs sent one cv tf and i have no protection except ground based bombers against them. I totally blew the cva and had it sunk before it ever launched a plane. I want my carriers back! : (
