Will the Great Powers be able to invade countries not historically part of the war? I'd love to try Schlieffen's plan as he intended it. Or as the British overrun Denmark and move on to the Baltic. Now there's some guaranteed naval action my boys!

Ya good question. I am curious if the Netherlands, Spain, Switzerland, etc.... could get into it. That sort of stuff would be really cool.

Hi!

Yes, neutrals are in the game. However, most have a leaning to one side or another, as was characteristic of the war. Eventually, they will join one side or the other. Entry can be influenced by diplomacy. Spain, however, is not on the map, it's frontier with France being the Western limit of the map.

As far as Holland goes... the option to carry out the Schlieffen Plan by sweeping through Holland and Belgium is indeed possible.

Sounds great Lava. Maybe I missed this in an earlier discussion, what is the Eastern most frontier fo the map then? Will Russia to the Ottoman Empire be featured?

Turkey and the Caucasus front is in the game. The middle east however is not. The map stretches to southern Turkey. So you can pull a Gallipoli.
