Click on the tiny map in the bottom left corner. This brings up your settings. One of them is music; choices are on or off. Same with sound effects.

I have the version without any patches and cannot get the music to work. I found the Music On/Off button. I have sound from the combat and movement phase but no music. Anything I should do other than download the patches? I have a 56K and believe download time will be quite long. Otherwise game plays fine.

I downloaded the patches and the music is now audible. Disregard previous post.

Is there a way to replace the in-game music with something else? I have found and replaced the menu and intro files with new music, but I cannot find the in-game stuff.

Hi Solops,
This has been answered in the main forum, but not in this forum. There is a Music folder off the main folder where your exe is located. Go to it, and you will see a number files called KPM%%.ogg, where the %% is a number starting from 01. Ogg vorbis is a compression system similar to MP3 - there are many free converters from MP3 to ogg available to download. So if you have an MP3 you want to play, then convert to ogg format, then copy to this folder and make sure the file is in the correct format - ie KPM%%.ogg.
