Danube Newbie w. Problems:

Hello. I just bought Danube, and am looking forward to many hours of gaming with it. However, when I open the game and sellect either a solitaire campaign or one of the campaign battles, the battle screen comes up without an Options Panel, and clicking on an army does not bring up an Army Options panel. I've gone through the manual to try and find what I may be doing wrong, but have found nothing with reference to these issues. (I've run the true update feature and installed the 2.98MB update, and still have this problem.) I'm running a PC with Windows ME, an 800mhz Pentium III processor, 64MB RAM, and plenty of room on my 10GB HD. Could anyone enlighten me as to what I need to do, or not do, to correct this problem? I'm not sure I sufficiently understand what you're doing. Are you actually getting to the game (with the map and units visible), and your problem happens when you initiate combat? Or are you having problems before that stage, at the setup screen?

Problem solved:

The problem seems to have been caused due to my having my PC's display set to 800x600. Changing it to 1024x768 solved the problem. Now I just have to figure out how to do battle in this new environment. Wish me luck! [:)]
