Any plans for North Africa campaign?

Post by Willard »

Was reading an article on a WWII North Africa campaign game (specifically Crusader) and starting thinking about how cool and perfect this game engine/system would be for North Africa.

Any plans from Panther (after Crete, BFTB, Normandy and East Front) to go this route?

Please keep up the great work. Panther has developed the BEST system for wargaming and I will never by another hex/counter based game again.

Good idea indeed. I would see the HTTR engine fits very well the North African campaigns.

Another possibility perhaps: the US war in Vietnam. This would require some tweaking of the engine however to reflect the moving and dynamic nature of the Vietnam battlefield: for example, different LOS rules though depending on your side (US units would have a harder time in spotting VC/NVA to compensate, while having stronger firepower).

There are so many applications...

Modern Camapings (like HPS campaings) would be so cool. A "Cold War went hot" series, I'm not interested in modern day wargames, but with this engine it could turn apart.
