Question for Shermans fans (Canadians specially)

I just bought a very rare 1/48 Scale M1A1 Sherman (75mm)

I would like to paint it representing a Canadian Sherman in Western Europe (no Italian front, no North Africa).

So ... do anyone outhere knows about a good website where I can see pictures and data about Canadian Shermans in Western Europe?
Do you know the colour Canadian Shermas were painted with? (olive drab? field green? was it different from US or UK tanks?)

One thing to note is that the Canadian M4A1 was known as the Grizzly - it was made in Canada and was the exact duplicate of the US M4A1 with the exception that the drive wheel had more sprokets.

Yo Canadians,
My boss and I had a discussion the other day about the switch to the Maple Leaf flag---which he said happened when he was a kid but he wasn't sure. I knew the Union Jack appeared on the flag from playing SPWAW but I didn't know until I looked it up that it was 1965. But I am curious as I thought the Maple Leaf had been used in WWII, and upon further digging I found that since 1904 the red Maple Leaf on White was used by Canadians in the Olympics and that:
In 1914, many Canadian soldiers wore the maple leaf on their military badges, and it was the dominant symbol used by many Canadian regiments serving in the Great War (World War I).
In 1939, at the beginning of World War II, numerous Canadian troops once again used the maple leaf as a distinctive emblem, displaying it on regimental badges and Canadian army and naval equipment.

So...was the Maple Leaf flag ever flown before 1965 or was it just an emblem, eh?

Leaf alone is old.

Think it was 67 though. Confederation year.
