I Just reformatted my hard drive do you have to ptach 2.179 before you patch 2.286.
The 2.179 patch is much larger than 2.286.

Yes, if you are applying patches manually then you will need to update to 2.1.79 before updating to 2.2.86.

No the dog does not eat Cds. I share my computor with my 10 year old son and call me lazy but I get tired of pulling the army men CD and putting in mine. You know not everyone that doesn't like putting in CDs is a criminal

I find it very useful too, since EYSA, SPWaW, HoI and HTTR all play without the disc in the drive I have plenty of options as to what to play regardless of what cd is in - at the moment it's one of the CM's or Shogun: Total War.

I am glad I am not the only lazy one around. I tend to play just one game, as I hate shuffling the CD's. It gets worse as my computer is under my desk, so I have to duck under my esk each time I need to switch. Especially when you have e-mail games running with from several games, every morning/evening you have to do that shuffle. CD's end up laying on the desk, getting dirty and scratched...

I hate it.
