PI on the popenberg CTD

Every time I play the scenario PI on the Popenberg after I setup and start closing on the objective I get a crash to desktop..Just wondering if it's a bug in the scenario or something in my install.Patched to the lastest version and other scenarios seem to be running OK,,Thank you for any help

rwatson, we'll need a bit more information to be able to help. Please check out the sticky threads in the Support forum for starters, and as well as providing the stuff mentioned there make sure you include whether you are using any mods to the game, whether it always crashes at a particular clock time, or always when a particular event has just occurred, and if possible some directions for us on how we can reproduce the problem.

Sorry for posting in the wrong forum.Didn't realize there was a separate support forum.Reinstalling the game now and seeing if the problem persists.But its only that scenario.I did notice the program wasn't in the add/remove panel .But there are no mods involved..After the reinstall I'll do a replay and see if it happens again.I'll repost after this thread is moved ,Thank you for the reply.

***Did a reinstall and up grade and ran through the scenario 3 times and no ctd...Must have been something i mucked up since I first installed it.Glad to see it was something stupid I did and not a bug or anything in an excellent wargame.

You left out the most important thing ... were you winning or losing at the time? The AI is pretty creative in this game, perhaps it has evolved to the level of crashing if it sees disaster coming! {just joking}

Good one Mark never thought of that!!!
Just happy its running well its the most fascinating game I've ever played it and Korsun pocket are a wargamers dream.
The solution is probaby good advice for someone having troubles,,,reinstall and patch,,Ya never know what 3rd party tweaker or whatnot might have deleted a registry entry or some other voo-doo and messed things up.
