strat guide

Post by petdoc »

Just popped in to let you know how much i enjoyed the strat guide. The blow by blow account of the campaign was excellent. What I really found useful however was the actual tactics and game mechanics section. I read it through, got all juiced up and started a short scenario (lunchtime at work) that I have found difficult....Joe's bridge as the axis (keep the snickers to a minimum, im not the best strategist). Ive always been able to easily win as allies, but axis - best was a draw. Used all my newfound knowledge .... and got a decisive victory! 100vp to 14vp. Next comes Mook Right Hook as Axis. Thanks guys for an excellent guide.

What an enlightened employer you must have that you are allowed to play HTTR during lunch! :)

These days I run my own business. So, that is not too much of a problem. But I still have to answer to a higher authority about how I spend my time ... my wife. :)

LOL. I too am my own employer. Owning your own business does have its perks! I just make sure I close my office door when the shells are dropping, don't want to scare the clients too much!

Lucky you folks!
I am an employee, they issued me a Macintosh, my boss's LOS points directly to my screen, my computer at home is in the main bedroom and my wife doesn't like me to use it when she goes to bed at 9:30. I'm doomed!

Just downloaded my copy of the guide and look forward to some good reading after being away from HTTR for a while. Decided to get back into it after reading the Market Garden chapter in Band of Brothers.
