Interesting Reading

Post by W Thorne_MatrixForum »

Just received two good books from Osprey that folks here might be interested in: WWII Infantry Tactics, Squad and Platoon and US Armored Divisions, ETO 1944-45.

The Infantry tactics book is squad and platoon based so is a little more small unit tactics then operational. However, the book on the US Armored Divisions fits right into the scale of Airborne Assault. Has fairly detailed maps on how to attack different obstacles and defensive positions for an armored division.

I know we're not to the Bulge yet but still makes for an interesting read while playing HTTR.
