Please, support SPWAW 5.0 MegaCampaigns :)

SPWaW is a tactical squad-level World War II game on single platoon or up to an entire battalion through Europe and the Pacific (1939 to 1945).

Please, support SPWAW 5.0 MegaCampaigns :)

Post by Graf Speer »

Paul Vebber said today at CG Games:
Our intent is that if we get a decent income stream from MegaCampaigns, we will use some of that revenue to make major graphical and database changes to the game (so we sell more Mega-Campaigns).
After more than a year of unprecidented and free SPWAW upgrades, I think a little good faith financial support from the SP community would be especially constructive and timely.

Additionally, as Paul has indicated that some of the profits will still go towards future support of SPWAW, I would humbly encourage all who can spare and/or justify parting with a single 'Hamilton' to show their vigorous support for the Mega Campaign offerings and do it today. :)

Thank you.

I agree. Not many gaming companies have their dedication to producing a great product. I ordered mine the first day they started taking orders.

Its a real struggle sometimes and our zest to improve things sometimes gets the better of us for a bit! But we feel we have shown that we are committed to making great games!

Thanks!

Could someone please tell this Canadian what a Hamilton or a Jackson is? When I get US money from my bank for a trip to the states, I look at the denominations, but have never noticed exactly who the Presidents were. And am I making a mistake in assuming that only Presidents are on bills, and not other people?

Just curious. Oh, and can we mail order the mega campaign, and are there instructions on how to do so somewhere?

Thanks

Tom

ps, it's really only been a year since I started using US money on my trips. Most often I used travellers cheques or plastic.

Nope two bills do not have Presidents:
The $10 and $100 don't have presidents; Hamilton and Franklin respectively.
The rest are:
$1 Washington
$5 Lincoln
$20 Jackson
$50 Grant
(The $500 and $1000 bills are still legal tender, but are withdrawn from circulation.)
You can pre-order the mega-campaign.

Yeah, I made my pre-order, but I haven't sent the check yet. I'll wait until the official release date, and then, well, you know the rest. Over this past weekend I had a catastrophic system crash and lost the entire contents of my hard drive, including SPWaW. For any of you who have had this happen (no backups!), you understand how painful this can be. I still have the EZCD version of 2.1, but it's better if I start fresh with 5.0. At least I've restored enough to be able to come back here and bemoan my misfortune. I forgot basic PC lesson #1:backup everything. Regardless of that, I'll just say (again) how much I appreciate being part of the Matrix community and the support given by Matrix' staff and the rest of my fellow forumers. GH.

I'd be more than happy to give Matrix some money but each time I try I get an error screen(Paul already knows this). Till I can I'll patiently play everything in my games library.

I'm on board! They got my cash already.
I'll buy at least one of anything offered.
