I sat down an hour ago to check progress on the DD. I visit a thread, read a post, go back to the thread list. Each time I do this, several new posts appear, so I check them. Will you all please go away so I can go get my dinner? It's now 1830 and I've got other stuff to do this evening.......like get out the map of the Pacific Theatre and plan............and possibly have a beer.

This is how it's going to be for awhile, I think. It's the same way over on the HOI/HOI2 forums, and WitP is going to nearly as popular, I think. We wargamers are a chatty (loud-mouthed?) bunch. [:D] Check out the heated arguments over the serial numbers of the P-40's who were enroute to the PI on December 7th - great fun! [:'(]

Aelbric - The first step is admitting you have a problem, and I see this brought you out of "Lurker" status as well! Well done and welcome to the forum! Has anybody else noticed how many of us newbies / former lurkers are all over this board lately? It is a great thing to see. This thing is going to set the standard for computer wargames.

Yo. Be careful. You will be able to download the game when Matrix is ready, which we hope is in the next day or two. There are a couple of threads from about a week ago that explained a lot about the expected download process, bandwith, etc. I'd suggest checking those older threads out - they were very detailed.

One is "WitP Download." But if you go back a week or so, you'll see a lot of threads on DD. Just scan the threads about four pages back - they're not hard to spot.
