Based upon what I've read here - they think it should be available for DD tomorrow ( Wed ) ??

Is that the popular understanding or are we sorta like kids waiting till Christmas morning only to wake up and be told that Santa didn't come last nite but will come sometime in the next 4-5 days??

In fairness to Matrix:

I have not seen any recent posting by a representative of Matrix speculating as to when the game will be available by digital download. Any speculation, therefore, is that of the uninformed and over-anxious members of this forum. Speculate (and take time off from work) at your own risk!

I have it from a good, solid, reliable source that it will be Wednesday at 1600 EDT. The source's name is...Madame Zelda...You can reach her at 1.900.... yes, I'm going crazier the longer the wait. [:'(]

Think of it this way everyone - the best sign that Matrix is working their asses off right now is that they aren't posting on the forum. Expect it at any time.

Well, we have that reality plus one more that I should add. The fact that this is their first day back in the "office" and the website still hasn't been touched. Means the web designers are working overtime to have the new site ready for when the game and the download are set to roll. [8D] Easiest way to tell there's been progress on this whole thing is to watch the front page of the matrix website. Soon as the content changes, you can bet things have changed for the better... [8D]

the Buy It logo on the WitP site a half a dozen times - just in case they happened to sneak it up and had not made the official announcement. Don't worry, if that happened I'd be sure to tell y'all - after I had it downloaded.

Well if it comes out 2PM EST I am ok.. I have a faster pipe at work.. so I could get a faster DL then burn to CD there.

a 500MB+ DD at home may take a few hours

C'mon, Freeboy, Origins ended Sunday, and some (most?) of the Matrix people are in Australia, no? That's a full travel day; I know, because I've done it. On top of that, you set your watch ahead 12 hours or so, which means if you leave Ohio Sunday night, you might not even arrive in Oz until Tuesday morning. That's how it was when I did the trip, anyway.

Also, Matrix *has* posted. Marc said he would be surprised if it was Tuesday, and he was right, because Tuesday's pretty much gone.

The game will be here soon enough.

No one from Matrix is from Oz that I am aware of.. I think a flight from Colombus to jfk takes less time than the trip to the airport to get the flight...
and Marc stating he didn't think so on todays dd is not what I was stating... they have not been forthright.. it is really simple.. I was looking for a black and white clear release date.. we will sell this at this date subject to availability... Please.. do you really think this work is so mysterious that a timeframe could not be put out there... ???
