prediction re: this forum and Top Ten List

Post by Chaplain »

Well, I predict that by mid-morning tomorrow this forum will have lost its "warm and fuzzy" and become hard-edged, even sarcastic, as we impatiently wait for the game to come out. (I'm speaking from HOI patch experience). Let's keep it cool.

TOP 10 THINGS TO KEEP YOURSELF UNDER CONTROL WHILE WAITING:

10. Fire up a UV scenario for nostalgia sake, and try something you've never tried
9. Break out those old AH/SPI games from the closet and pore over them
8. Go see SpiderMan 2
7. Start a new book on the Pacific campaigns
6. Go see Troy, if you haven't already
5. Start a dynamic campaign in SPWAW2, just to absorb your energy
4. Buy (shudder) StarShatter, just to remind yourself how great wargames are
3. Beat your head against the pavement until it bleeds, for distraction
2. Fire up Championship Manager 4 for a fresh round of soccer/football
1. Compose another (better) Top 10 list like this one

But above all, LET'S REMAIN CIVIL so we can beat the snot out of each other later in PBEM without hard feelings.

I just saw Spiderman 2 and it was excellent. I knew the game wasn't going to be out today, more like Friday as it was never promised so soon. Maybe they'll decide to take Thursday and Friday off, make it a five day weekend? They deserve the time off, go for it Matrix! I can wait...[;)]
