Tali-Ihantala

A brief reminder of what happened 60 years ago:

Our military history association set up a weapon and militaria display to remember this battle. Past 2 days I've been 'acting museum guide' and talking my throat sore [8|]
We've had a decent amount of visitors so far and even many veterans have checked our display. Been absolutely great chatting with them!

So any in-depth examination of 8.20 has to wait a couple days more...

Hmm has anyone here ever seen/played Continuation War campaign in SPWAW? Maybe couple of scens but not whole campaign[8|]... It's pity because Continuation War included many tough battles (as mentioned Tali-Ihantala). How about campaign about advance of Tank Division (led by Gen. Lagus) to Syväri power station 1941-42 and then summer battles of 1944 (Kuuterselkä and Vuosalmi attack operations etc.)? Especially actions of Stug Battalion during 1944 battles could be worth of campaign/scens, isn't it? It could be nice to play in SPWAW v.8.2/9.5 GE[:'(].

Sami, it's my plan to provide design information about these battles for the Combat Leader game.
